It’s with great sadness and reluctance that we’re announcing our closure in the next few weeks. The circumstances that we’ve faced over many months now have made sustaining the business impossible - nursing mental and physical health, Bev dealing with the most devastating and consequential healing journey imaginable, an ongoing police investigation, and trying to show up as a good-enough parent for my two beautiful kids, expensive rent and bills, and not having nearly enough fuel left in the tank for the business.

Living through something of this magnitude also shifts one’s priorities and it’s clear to both of us that the additional extreme stress that comes from running a small business isn’t something that is good for either of us right now. There are simply more important things in life at the moment. One’s health and sense of duty to care for loved ones (and oneself) properly during times of crisis is always the most important thing at the end of any day. So there’s a lot of sadness today, but there’s also the knowledge that we’ll be able to look ourselves in the mirror one day and know that we made the right decision - for ourselves and for each other.

We’ll be trying to clear as much stock as possible in the coming couple of weeks by taking a huge 25% OFF ALL STOCK. This discount is automatically applied to all purchases on our website and we’ll do our best to open as much as possible over the coming fortnight. You can still select store pick-up at checkout - even if we’re not open, we’ll be around for you to collect. (Just call the number on the door.)
