You’ve probably noticed we’ve been pretty quiet on the business and socials front for a while now. It’s been very hard to find the words to communicate too much about this for various reasons - personal, business and legal. My incredibly beautiful and strong life (and business) partner, Bev, has been experiencing profound personal and health turmoil for over a year now. In turbulent times like this, personal strength and the imperative to ‘not worry others’ can sometimes work against us and, for now, I’ve managed to convince her that, if ever there were a time to reach out and ask for help, now is that time. Bev and I have been in crisis mode for many months now. We can’t share too much for legal reasons. The consequences for Bev’s life, for my life, and for this business’s life, have been far-reaching to say the least. It’s also incredibly frustrating for us to assert such extreme hardship while not being able to currently provide any details around the reasons for this.

Please understand that we wouldn’t be asking if we weren’t already at crisis point.

Of course, we’d love to save Ringo. But, right now, we also just need to look after ourselves. Those who know us may know a little bit. Most of our customers have presumably not even had a reason to be concerned (and may figured that our being occasionally closed in recent times might have just be ‘laziness’).

Please know that this is a genuine crisis for both of us. In time, we may be able to say more. Until then, please just know that it’s not in either of our natures to ask for help. We know everybody is currently struggling - this economy is genuinely awful. If you can spare a couple of bucks, or even a quiet check-in, we’d really appreciate the human connection.

We’re open as much as we can be at this time. We hope to be open closer to ‘normal hours’ real soon.
